For the marks you notice every time you walk past.
Trolley scuffs in a car park, a scrape from a hedge, the pale line down the door where a key or a ring caught it. Gekko Car Scratch Remover is a polishing compound for light marks in the clear coat — the shallow kind that sit on the surface rather than down in the paint.
Work a small amount in with a cloth, buff it off, and repeat if the mark is still visible. It’s hand application, so there’s no machine polisher to buy or learn.
At a glance
• Polishing compound for light clear-coat scuffs
• Suitable for most factory paint colours and finishes
• Applied by hand — no machine polisher needed
• A small amount covers a panel
• Wipe on, buff off, repeat as needed
Worth knowing
If you can catch a scratch with a fingernail, it has gone through the clear coat and into the paint. A compound won’t reach that — that one is a job for a body shop.
