A sharp knife is a safer knife.
Blunt blades slip, and most kitchen cuts come from a knife skidding off something instead of biting into it. GekkoSharp brings an edge back in a few passes without the learning curve of a whetstone.
Set the knife into the slot, draw it back toward you at a steady pace, and repeat until the edge bites. The base grips the counter so you’re not holding the sharpener steady and pulling at the same time.
At a glance
• Restores an edge in a few passes
• Guided slot holds the blade at a consistent angle
• Non-slip base grips the counter
• Suits most straight-edged kitchen knives
• No sharpening skill required
Not for every blade
Serrated knives and ceramic blades need different treatment — keep those out of it and they’ll last longer.
